Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the executive team and other departments on a wide range of corporate legal matters.
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of various SEC related documents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal securities laws.
- Interface and correspond with regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and resolving any legal issues promptly and effectively.
- Draft, review, and negotiate any array of corporate contracts.
- Conduct legal research to stay current on changes in applicable laws and regulations, and provide proactive advice to mitigate legal risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, and corporate restructuring activities.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the legal team to ensure efficient and effective legal operations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in any US state with preference for applicants licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a General Counsel or in a senior legal role within a private or public corporation.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal securities laws, including SEC regulations and reporting requirements.
- Experience managing and overseeing any array of SEC filings.
- Proven ability to handle regulatory inquiries and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and review skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to provide strategic legal advice.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a multinational organization or entities with operations spanning multiple regions.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, including debt and equity financing, financial analysis, and investor relations.
- Expertise in technical accounting and financial reporting, with a solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive financial initiatives and optimize business outcomes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
